A meeting of German post-punk, dark wave, and EBM with Czech shoegaze, dream-pop, and post-punk influences—all in one fantastic evening.

TWIN NOIR is a German post-punk, dark wave, and EBM (Electronic Body Music) duo founded in Berlin in 2021, consisting of Cody Barcelona (vocals, electronics, guitar) and Ian Volt (vocals, bass guitar). Lina Avair contributes to the project as a third member, assisting with behind-the-scenes work and creative processes.

The band’s signature sound is defined by a "two punks and a tape machine" setup, as the musical foundation is provided by an analog tape machine. Their music combines minimalist, repetitive German-language lyrics with powerful basslines, dark synthesizer passages, and danceable club beats.

ROYE is an indie singer-songwriter and musician based in Prague, Czech Republic. Originally from India, he currently lives and creates in Europe, primarily in the Czech Republic.

Key features of the project:

• Genre: His music blends elements of shoegaze, dream-pop, and post-punk.

• Influences: His sound is heavily inspired by British alternative guitar bands from the late 80s and early 90s (such as The Cure, Oasis, and Radiohead). His music is characterized by a deep sense of melancholy, nostalgia, and atmospheric melodies.

• Albums: His second, self-released studio album is titled *Funeral of Feelings*.
