Frenetic Tudósok birthday party with new album featuring the most terrible old songs in new hospital gowns, and the latest and greatest and surprises!
On the occasion of the 39th birthday of the Tudósok (Scientists) band, they have collected their most terrible songs that they haven't played for twenty years and from them they have created a wonderfully shocking, completely incompatible, sometimes painfully honest, sometimes hilariously disgusting, sometimes murderously poetic, other times mindlessly philosophical, but always ruthlessly cruel anti-hits, just for you, to perform on this overwhelmingly beautiful birthday evening on All Saints' Day, on which we will all be saints who will be there.
Tudósok is the most tenacious survivor of Eastern European post-punk. Juggling elements of free jazz, surrealist poetry, noise music and New York-inspired punk-funk-disco of the late seventies, the band has featured dozens of excellent Hungarian and foreign musicians over the years, touring Europe several times, but also giving concerts in Moscow and overseas.
Tudósok has released an album in Budapest, London, Moscow and Ljubljana, and has performed on numerous international tours in prestigious clubs such as the Knitting Factory in New York, the Paradiso in Amsterdam, the Dom in Moscow, the Supamolly in Berlin, the Bull’n’Gate in London, the Instants Chavirés in Paris, the Cankarjev Dom in Ljubljana and many others.
