Former Tankcsapda guitarist Gábor Sidlovics, Sidi has been working on his own music for the past year and a half, which he will present live for the first time with his new band, Siddhi.
The band awaits rock music fans with brand new songs and well-known Mafia hits at the album launch concert titled “The FIRST” on December 9, 2026 at the A38 Hajó from 7 p.m. The evening will be opened by a surprise support band at the iconic concert venue in Budapest, and Siddhi will be joined by such an excellent guest artist as Intim Torna Illegál frontman Péter Dorogi.
Since the March and May premieres of the songs Test kihilól and Baj szövetőt, questions about the new album have been pouring in. In addition to filming the clips that have now been viewed hundreds of thousands of times, studio work has been ongoing, and the album won’t take long to arrive; 2026 won’t pass without a Siddhi album. The band will present the first album on the A38 ship at its grand concert on December 9, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM, where the newest song, "Innocent", will also be performed, the video clip for which has already been recorded by the band. Sidi is looking forward to the album launch concert:
“You can imagine how interesting it was for me, who has been making music as a way of life for 25 years, to spend a year and a half without a stage after leaving Tankcsapda. Of course, making a record was a cure, but nothing can replace the stage. On December 9th, we will not only present the record, but I will also be returning home! I am grateful that I can do this with friends and fellow musicians like Miklós Steklács, who was my founding partner in Zanzibar, Márk Horváth, with whom I spent 6 years in the Tankcsapda team, and Peti Dorogi, who encouraged and kept me going when Siddhi was still just a dream, is also with us.
Special thanks to Márk Horváth, who is probably going through one of the most difficult periods of his life right now due to a health problem, but he invests such energy in the band and the preparation, which is exemplary and inspiring to me.”
