THE TROUSERS

The Trousers are a garage rock/hard rock band from Budapest that has been around since 2005. Their style can be placed between the hard rock music of the second half of the 70s and the garage rock wave of the 2000s. During their career, they have released 6 albums and several EPs, the third one (Freakbeat, 2013) featured a guest appearance by Nicke Andersson, the leader of The Hellacopters. Since then, their albums have regularly received good reviews on international underground forums, and their songs are played on underground rock radio stations worldwide. Their latest album was also released by an international label, and received an average rating of 10/8 in Hungarian and international rock magazines. They are currently working on their seventh LP, “Necessary Evil”, from which “Second hand suicide” can already be heard on various streaming platforms.

Outside of Hungary, they played in Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia, Romania, and opened for bands such as Black Stone Cherry (USA), Dirty Honey (USA), Atomic Bitchwax (USA), Peter Pan Speedrock (NL), Tygers of Pan Tang (UK), Peter Hook & The Light (UK), Honky (USA), Barb Wire Dolls (GR), The Blue Van (DK), Konflikt (SK), or in Hungary, Junkies and Tankcsapda.
