Saya Noé, Flanger Kids

Saya Noé (ie Mimi Kőrös), a singer-songwriter-producer who grew up in Malaysia, appeared in Hungarian music life in 2020 with the English-language melancholic / dark / alternative electropop songs, which are mostly in the mood of Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo or Lana. It evokes the musical world of Del Rey. Her song (mainly Under The River with Grammy Award-winning producer Matt Lawrence) was soon spotted abroad: she was featured on the playlist of 20 European radio stations, wrote about her in the renowned IQ Magazine, and was chosen as the presenter of the day by Europavox journalists. She was selected for both the Budapest Showcase Hub program and the recommendation list of the HOTS Music Export Office. Her clips, based on surreal, astonishing ideas, are directed by Adam Grasso of the UK - the latest, which was made for the song Iodine, was shot in 11 days and 25 locations. Meanwhile, she is Hungary's most successful musical Twitch streamer, with 34,000 international followers. In the year of her Hungarian debut, she could barely give a concert due to the epidemic, so she will have her first live debut with her band on the A38 Roof Terrace.
The guest at the concert will be Flanger Kids - the room duo of Panka Szczuka and Fanny Gyarmati appeared with their fine, ethereal, vocal electronics on last year's selection album of Electronic Beats. Their first EP (Dreaming of a Better World) was released by Balázs Zságer on Move Gently Records this spring.
