Pinkers
The band was formed in 2017 under the name Pink and the Panthers. The group, which mainly plays in the acid jazz style, already had many successes in its first 5 years: they were able to perform live on the TV show A DAL for two consecutive years, they were able to appear on the stage of many domestic clubs and festivals, and in addition, they released 3 albums and 7 music videos .
In 2022, in addition to moving towards a more popular genre, the band lineup also changed significantly. The founding members, keyboardist Edvárd Pink and bassist Balázs Takács, were joined by Ádám Botond as singer, Domonkos Berkó as saxophonist, and Benjámin Berczi as drummer.
The new formation created in this way continues its journey under the name Pinkers, capturing the audience with its fresh and energetic sound. Through the images that appear in their texts, we gain an insight into the sometimes wild emotions of a generation: both committed and freedom-seeking, predictable and spontaneous at the same time.
First Appearance - North Pole:
PINKERS' latest song, North Pole, presents a mental state that is unavoidable for everyone from a specific perspective: love grief. The bed is empty and cold, and we keep replaying in our heads what we messed up...
We travel in the car without our love, but we still hear his voice in our head. The big question then comes in the chorus: where does the road lead after lost love? While PINKERS' new song seems to be melancholic, you can be sure that you haven't heard it enough: it will cheer you up and you can definitely scream the lyrics in the audience of a festival!
TAO
TAO, the text-centric, singing-dancing, "fusion pop" band, is five years old this year. After their concept album Probovádő, this year they appear with more pop songs. They ignore all trends: "only the songs and playing music together matter." Their songs tell the lives and feelings of drifting girls and hesitant or adventurous guys. Quite contemporary stuff, attentive, oblivious. Their online presence is impressive, it is worth looking for them mostly in the music stores.
