Starting from the garage, filling sports halls, yet forever loyal to the clubs - the story of Pál Utcai Fiúk has been written for 43 years, and every single song is still sung with the same vigor today. The band's true field has always been the world of smaller clubs, where they can be as close as possible to their loyal and adored audience.
Generations have grown up on PUF's songs, but one thing has not changed: the energy of the concerts. The band members still feel that they are experiencing the most beautiful moments of their lives on stage - and the audience feels this every time.
With more than 1,500 concerts and more than four decades behind them, they are still driven by the same desire: to meet again and again those for whom it all began.

Pál Utcai Fiúk is Hungary’s most famous "underground" band formed back in 1983. In the early 80-ies they were one of the most important bands of the Hungarian underground scene, which is proved by their 1987 demo. In the 90-ies they launched several great-success albums, signed for the EMI-Quint label and received a serie of awards. In the late 90-ies there were many personal changes in the band, which resulted in a powerful revival in 1999 opening a new era for the band. Series of gigs packed with cheering audience have proved, that the band is truly back. It is their intelligent lyrics, moving, powerful, punkish guitar-sounds that bring them their huge success.
