We seek to answer the question of how artificial intelligence can transform from a terrifying monster into something that truly helps and improves our lives.
The generations that come after us will be the first to be unable to believe their eyes, although in reality we can't. It is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish the real from what is generated by artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is the (so far) top product of the fourth industrial revolution, which is already a constant player in our lives, but in the very near future it will not only be a player but also a shaper of education, healthcare, the labor market, communication, and even art and culture.
The world in which we live with the everyday operation of artificial intelligence is, on the one hand, hopeful, since we can hand over some of our tasks to it, it can help us overcome incurable diseases today, and we can achieve things with it that seemed almost impossible before. On the other hand, however, it is also threatening, since it can endanger the livelihoods of millions and we still don't see where its limits are, or if there are any at all.
At the Republikon Institute's season-opening conference, we seek to answer the question of how artificial intelligence can transform from a terrifying monster into something that truly helps and improves our lives. We will create an opportunity to find out what the government is planning and what representatives of the relevant professions think about it. With our event, we would like to facilitate a dialogue between the actors involved in the topic.
