Dressed Like Boys is the queer indie-pop solo project of Ghent-based singer-songwriter Jelle Denturck.

Formed in Belgium, the project has quickly built a reputation for its deeply personal songwriting, winning two MIA Awards and securing spots at major European music festivals.

The project's signature sound blends the warmth of '70s piano ballads, '60s sunshine pop, indie folk, and experimental recording techniques. As an openly gay artist, Denturck uses his lyrics to explore themes of sexuality, queer history, identity, and community resilience. Fans of artists like David Bowie, Sufjan Stevens, and Rufus Wainwright will find a similar emotional depth in his arrangements.

• Dressed Like Boys (Debut Album - August 2025): An 11-track introduction featuring fan favorites like "Lies", "Pinnacles", "Jaouad", and the queer anthem "Stonewall Riots Forever".

• And Then I Woke Up (Upcoming Album - Spring 2027): His highly anticipated second studio album. The title track single was released in September 2026.

Following a massive 2026 festival run that included shows at Rock Werchter, Best Kept Secret, Sziget, and Pukkelpop, Dressed Like Boys is currently touring across Europe.
