Cz. K. Sebő, Meet Me Midway, Saya Noé

Three Talents from the Singer-Songwriter Universe One Night on the A38 Ship: Two solo productions and a duo give a free candlelit concert in the Exhibition Space on March 5. And you don't even need a candlelight to get the best vibe: the Danube and the city's infiltrating lights beside the hall provide the perfect base for an intimate evening of concerts by Platon Karataev frontman Cz. K. Sebő, Meet Me Midway and Saya Noé.

Cz. K. Sebő

Sebo is best known as one of Platon Karataev's frontrunners, but he has not stopped his emotional solo solo project alongside the band, and is currently working on his first album. Active since 2014, Cz.K. With its sharp vocals and fine guitar themes, Sebő focuses on slowness and lightness in his bittersweet style. Concerts, based primarily on American folk traditions, have a unique, soul-deep atmosphere. His main themes are survival of the past and the boundlessness of the inner world. The singer-songwriter released a trio of instrumental singles at the end of 2019 and began this year with the release of the single 'Chamomile', which included a video clip. With these two appearances, you have made it clear to yourself that in 2020 you will be devoting more time to your solo project.

Meet Me Midway

We are only two. Unusual, we know. Folk, singer-songwriter, acoustic, all genre-true for us. No drum, no bass, no piano, no triangle. Sometimes a ukulele, but then there is only one guitar next to it and a song. Meet Me Midway is no more than Patrik Béky (vocals, guitar) and Joci Barna (guitar). And that's been the case since 2010. On many occasions, we have been able to switch the audience to a duo lineup that can give a full-fledged concert experience. We have played in bigger concert venues in Budapest, played in smaller ones, played in mood cafes and even in larger rural cities over the years. Between 2013 and 2016 we performed in smaller bars in Paris.

Saya Noé

Mimi Kőrös, under the artist's name Saya Noé, spent most of her  childhood with her parents in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She had an early  love for music, learned to play violin and flute, later found herself  playing guitar and singing. A year working at an international  kindergarten in Barcelona inspired her to devote her life to the music,  sacrificing everything else. After moving home to Budapest, she began  studying production at ImPro School and started working on her own  songs. Her first EP, Taboo, was released in May 2019. Melancholic,  traveling electropop, some hip-hop, and trap feature the five songs, the  first of which is called "Free," a stunning visual. Her greatest  professional success happened during the fall of 2019, when Grammy  Award-winning producer Matt Lawrence, who has worked with several world  stars, selected and worked together on HOTS SongLab in Budapest. One of  the early performers supported by the Voice Capture Program in 2020,  chosen by a professional jury to help her release her first album.
