ZU (IT)
Zu are one of the most distinctive acts to emerge from the Italian underground. Their genre-defying sound blends elements of metal, noise, industrial, prog and contemporary music into a raw, uncompromising language that follows no established rules. Active for over two decades, the band has gained cult status worldwide and collaborated with artists such as Mike Patton, Damo Suzuki and the Japanese noise legends Ruins.
Their latest release is Ferrum Sidereum, out on January 9, 2026 via House of Mythology and produced by Marc Urselli. The album is presented on a European tour, led by the powerful first single “Golgotha.”
Zagušljivi Dim (HR)
Zagušljivi Dim is a trio from Čakovec whose music unfolds as a mantra-like, hypnotic journey through psychedelic rock, krautrock and spoken word. Constantly shifting between genres, their sound incorporates elements of post-punk, post-rock and ethno/folk, creating dark, ritualistic and philosophically charged atmospheres.
Their latest album, Durchfall der Lebensmaschine (2024), is a raw and trance-driven release that explores alienation, mechanized existence and lost spirituality through pounding rhythms, abrasive guitars, experimental textures and evocative spoken passages.
