KOIKOI is a fusion of sonic eclecticism and unstoppable energy. Unburdened by genres, they have playfully cherry-picked the most vibrant elements from rock and pop into a danceable juggernaut of sound, all spiced up with enchanting female-male vocal polyphony singing in Serbian. In their case this mess works brilliantly and their music transcends language barriers and is resonating worldwide.
In the last 3 years KOIKOI are captivating audiences with their high-octane energetic live performances that magnetizes crowds all around Europe. KOIKOI was nominated at ESNS for Music Moves Europe Awards 2023 as one of the top 15 emerging bands in Europe and was included in IMPALA’s ‘100 Artists to Watch’ in 2022. During 2024, they released the single “Putem Mimoza” as part of the Hali Gali compilation and recorded their second album, which is set to be released in the fall of 2025 and announced with the first singles Ponovo stran and Ti imaš mir.
