A shocking and liberating community experience of brain-body revving and catapulting with the best music in the world.

The band Tudósok has been a defining band of the Hungarian underground and alternative music scene for four decades, constantly rewarding and punishing with its spiritually healing music, which has been called horror jazz and punk metal, dadaist disco and poetic avant-garde, alternative funk and catatonic evangelism, but no one has remained indifferent to it.

During the four decades, Tudósok has performed in the most iconic Hungarian clubs from Tilos az Á to Fekete Lyuk to FMK, at festivals from Sziget to Nagy Fülön and Volt to Fishing on Orfű and Ördögkatlan, abroad from Vienna to Paris and London, and from Moscow to Sicily, Warsaw and Amsterdam to New York, their albums have been released in Hungary, England, Slovenia and Russia.

Despite the fact that there have been personnel changes in the band's lineup over the past four decades, it has always played the same role: the melting of instinctive, improvisational, loud musical forms into an inimitable individual poetic voice, the self-forgetful authentic representative of musical fire, who, through his loud social criticism and grotesque Eastern European character, elevates the liberating experience of his concerts into a social poetic rock opera.

Today, four decades after the band's formation in Novi Sad, the band is still intellectually and creatively incomparably fresh, yet mature, cultivated and harmonious, bringing a special selection of his most defining, most characteristic, most popular, most terrifying and most uplifting numbers to this large-scale, unique, never-to-be-repeated anniversary concert.

Tudósok and drMárias were banned by MTV, Petőfi Radio, MTI, and many festivals and institutions in the previous system, but they were also banned in the past and their Nagy Fül festival in Ferencváros was stopped by police with dogs. Despite this, they performed during the Yugoslav war at the anti-war Ring Ring festival in Belgrade, at the festival protesting the closure of the Blaue Aanslach club in The Hague, and at the demonstration against the closure of the cultural center in Koper, to name just a few.

During their many years of cooperation with Tilos radio, the Tudósok band organized and realized many important and memorable joint events. Over the past year, they have toured the best clubs in Hungary with great success with their Tudósok 40/drMárias60 music-visual arts-talk show, and their current concert at the A38 Hajós will be the final, summing up, grandiose festive event of their series of events.
