A great Italian and an equally great Slovenian band will make the evening a celebration, exploring a wide range of music from post-punk to electronic music, from new wave to alternative rock.
Talk To Her (IT)
“Music is our refuge, the abyss where we can breathe, the reality in which we find ourselves.”
Talk To Her are an Italian band whose sound ranges from post-punk to electronic music, from new wave to alternative rock, with introspective themes tied to suffering, desire, and the need to define one’s own identity in this world. In 2025 they released their second LP “Pleasure Loss Desire”, darker, colder and more aggressive.
Pavlov (SI)
Pavlov is a three-piece band, based in Litija, Slovenija, formed in 2017. Fusing elements of post-punk revival and new wave, they create a landscape of dark indie rock. The group consists of Marcel Kralj (vocals, guitar), Domen Malis (drums) and Miha Medvešek (bass guitar). In November 2018, they released their first single, ‘Konji že jočejo’, followed by the singles ‘Lov’ and ‘Soviet’ which were introduced in spring 2019. Their fourth song ‘Stolpi’ came out along with their first music video, it was well received by the audience and also earned the title of ‘Song of the Week’ by the Radio Terminal. After the single ‘Odboj’, that was unveiled in early 2021, the band returned to the studio to finish their full-length debut album ‘Predor’, which was released in November 2021. Shortly after the album's release, which earned the title of 'Album of the Week' on Radio Terminal, the band began performing at various clubs and venues around the country. Among others, they performed at the iconic Kino Šiška, at the international club festival Orto Fest, the Summer in Tivoli festival and in the Gromka Club (Metelkova town). The accompanying metallic sounding drums, heavily propulsive bass, synthesized chords dressed in the silk of melancholy, and picturesquely abstract verses that call out in the native Slovenian language are some of the shades of Pavlov's sound painting.
