Smag På Dig Selv

Since 2018, Smag På Dig Selv has been pushing the boundaries of genre with their explosive fusion of acoustic techno, raw punk energy, and 90s-inspired dance music. With two saxophones, drums, and a poetic yet activist approach, the trio creates an intense and euphoric live experience. Their groundbreaking sound and fierce stage presence have earned them a reputation as one of Denmark’s most compelling live acts – culminating in a Danish Music Award for “New Live Act of the Year” in 2024.

In April 2024 the band released their debut album 'SPDS' to critical acclaim. SPDS played to an audience of over 11,000 at Roskilde Festival in 2024, their concert at Store Vega sold out five months before the show and the trio is now ready to take the world by storm. In 2025 alone the trio has played SXSW, ESN, The Great Escape, SummerStage NYC, Athens Jazz Festival and many more shows around the world.

In March 2026 SPDS is releasing their second album on the Danish record label Stunt.

SPDS consists of:

Albert Holberg - drums

Thorbjørn Øllgaard - bass & baritone sax

Oliver Lauridsen - tenor sax

Arulei

Arulei (Rebecca Galfalvi) is a British-Hungarian composer, violinist and recording artist. Inspired by colourful mental imagery and visualisations, she presents a unique arc with each performance. She has been influenced by a plethora of genres and allows storytelling to be the central theme of all of her music. Her work can span from deep dark ambient sounds, through soaring classically inspired melodies, right up to techno with distorted violin solos. To support her violin she uses as many original and tactile sources as possible, including looped noise boxes, drum machines, synths and found sounds. In 2025 she released her second concept album ‘Bordering Freedom,’ which tells the story of our broken relationship with ourselves and our environment.

This concert was supported by LivEurope and Above 55° (Nordik Kulturfond).

The event is part of the MOL-New Europe Stage – Voices of Emerging Europe series, supported by the MOL-New Europe Foundation, as well as Liveurope.
