NYOS

Comprised of guitarist Tom Brooke and drummer Tuomas Kainulainen, NYOS are known for their immersive and often physically demanding live shows, having toured intensely throughout their first decade of existence, including tours supporting Zeal & Ardor, Esben and the Witch and The Comet Is Coming as well as appearances at festivals such as Sideways Festival in Helsinki, Fekete Zaj in Hungary and Pelagic Fest in Netherlands. The duo create massive sonic worlds using Brooke’s labyrinthine loops and atmospheric layering alongside Kainulainen’s kinetic drumming, in music that is rhythmic, raw, and eclectic.

Since their formation in 2014, NYOS have carved out a distinctive place within Europe’s experimental and post-rock scenes, characterised by their relentless energy, polyrhythmic complexity, and hypnotic layering.

While still rooted in their signature loop-based approach, Growl is “more ambitious with song soundscapes and compositions”, says guitarist Tom Brooke, naturally embracing a denser, more textured sound with greater attention to atmosphere and tension.

The band will be touring to support their 7th studio album ‘Growl’ throughout the 2nd half of 2025 and into 2026

Hyphen Dash (UA)

Hyphen Dash is a Kyiv-based Ukrainian instrumental fusion-jazz trio featuring Myshko Birchenko (drums), Yevhen Puhachov (guitar, bass), and Polina Maiboroda (keys), combining improvisational freedom with rock-driven energy.

Their live performances are intense and high-energy, driven by strong dynamics and sharp contrasts, unfolding as a powerful, physical listening experience where rhythm, volume, and tension continuously shift, keeping the audience fully engaged from start to finish.

The live video on LATE album focus track Hyphentallica recorded at Concert Hall Kyrylivska, 41, offering an accurate representation of the band’s stage presence and performance approach.

The band has appeared at many international festivals and venues including !XJAZZ (Berlin), Reeperbahn Festival (Hamburg), Rencontres Trans Musicales (Rennes), and a solo show in Oslo (Blå) — if you haven’t seen them live yet, this is your chance.

In 2025, Hyphen Dash released two full-length albums, marking an especially productive and defining year for the band. Basement 626, is an improvised record created by drummer Myshko Birchenko and guitarist Yevhen Puhachov, written and recorded in Kramatorsk.

The album drew international attention and was featured by Rolling Stone Magazine, highlighting Hyphen Dash’s bold artistic approach and their ability to turn raw improvisation into a powerful and resonant statement.

Their latest album LATE is Hyphen Dash’s most defining release, bringing together compositions written between 2019 and 2025. The album captures the band’s long-term artistic development and consolidates years of experimentation, transformation, and live practice into a focused artistic statement.

Their latest video work, LUVUHEIT, extends the band’s sonic language into a strong visual form, reflecting the tension, rhythm, and density that define their sound.

We are happy to announce this concert as part of the LATE album tour, which opens internationally at ESNS26, a key European showcase festival for new music.

This concert was realised with the support of LivEurope.
