The relations between the city and public space. The post-communist changes and the challenges of globalisation at the same time in the architecture of Budapest as key questions. It is: will the classical meaning of public space build up in the society like ours throgh the state-preserved monuments, spaces, places, or some of them will be taken over by other sides and become common in another sense, or private, or in worst case without owners or caretakers.
