Kosmonauci (PL)

Kosmonauci - a Polish boy band with a jazz background that draws on hip-hop, drum & bass and improvisation in its musical language. The instrumentation, which includes saxophone, bass, vibraphone and drums, creates the group’s unique style, balancing emotional melodies with polyrhythmic structures.

Following their acclaimed debut album Sorry, nie tu, the 3rd April 2026 marks the release of Kosmonauci’s sophomore record Brudna-Bielizna, out on U Jazz Me, a sublabel of U Know Me Records.

“The question of whether music needs Polish jazz is similar to the age-old debate about whether science needs philosophy. In both cases, the answer cannot be straightforward or obvious - so it is: dunno.” ~ Sensei Dżakba

BLMB

The BLMB Quartet plays instrumental jazz. More traditionally – as their name suggests – they play only four instruments than the increasingly popular fusion jazz formations.

Sitmob

Áron Tálas and Ádám Klausz’s unconventional keyboard–drums duo masterfully blends the pulsating grooves of modern hip-hop, funk, and drum’n’bass with the harmonic and melodic world of jazz.

The project was born out of the idea of street performing, with the hidden intention of bringing this kind of music to people who might otherwise never encounter it. Pianist-drummer Áron Tálas has shown in numerous other projects — including Borbély Workshop and his own trio — that professional mastery and cheeky humor don’t cancel each other out, but rather enhance the creative process. Meanwhile, Ádám Klausz has proven his versatility and openness as the drummer of acts like Co Lee and the Nagy Emma Quintet.

Before or after the concert, it’s also worth stopping by the photo exhibition in the A38 Bistro, where some of the best-captured concert moments from the past 23 years come to life through our photographers’ black-and-white images.
