Péterfy Bori & Love Band

Péterfy Bori has been member of the Schilling Árpád led Krétakör theatre since 2000. and was earlier member of other theatre groups as well, while rock’n’roll played a role of same importance in her life: since the breakup of the Amorf Ördögök band in spring 2007 she is still member of the KrétakörSzínészTáncZenekar. Now the Megadó label releases her new album that features compositions written by the founding members of her former band (Tövisházi Ambrus and Tariska Szabolcs), and also András Lovasi leader of the Kispál és a Borz and the Kiscsillag bands.

Péterfy Bori and her band made a material much more intensive and energetic, where they perform a relieved play with the clichés from the history of rock. Bori’s solo album is not only a virtuoso eclectic material, (great author and producer work by Tövisházi Ambrus), but also features great retro poetry  (lyrics by Tariska Szabolcs) and supersharp surreal photos of our everyday lives (songs by Lovasi András).

The members of the Love Band smoothly and easily play disco, ancient beat-music, militant rock, mutant reggae and psychodelic pop while Bori loosily changes her roles from a charming beauty to a bloodsucking vampire: just like a real pop diva.

Line up
Péterfy Bori: vocals
Drapos Gergely: bass guitar
István Nagy: guitar
Gergely Gáspár: drums
Pápai István: timbales, bongo, zizi
