Khirki (GR)
A Khirki egy athéni trió, amely a rock 'n' roll és a tradicionális zene határán egyensúlyoz. Nevüket a görög mitológia híres varázslónőjéről, Kirkéről kapták, aki varázsborával állatokká változtatta Odüsszeusz legénységét. Hasonló módon a zenekar is egyedi „főzetet” alkotott, amelyben a metal és rock kultúrából (Kvelertak, Mastodon, Tool stb.) merített elemeket ötvözik az orientális és balkáni dallamokkal, miközben megőrzik zenéjük nyers, kompromisszummentesen heavy karakterét.
2021-ben megjelent debütáló nagylemezük, ΚΤΗΝΩΔΙΑ, amely azonnal magával ragadta a metal közösséget, és kiváló kritikákat kapott a hazai és nemzetközi sajtóban.
2024-ben visszatértek második albumukkal, ΚΥΚΕΩΝΑΣ-szal, amely minden várakozást felülmúlt, és biztosította a Khirki helyét a globális metal térképen.
Shapat Terror
The wonderful Hungarian stoner-rock, grunge, metal band Shapat Terror, the most scratchy band from Eger, was formed in February 2002 on the ruins of the bands My Wounds and Anger.
