Stubborn Irish guys always engaged with the depths of the soul and never sinking into themselves without worthy results: kicking sound, pushing songs, hardrocking riffs, and a relieving voice at a uniquely fresh, witty, serious and funny rock music. The Jimmy Cake is a ten-member beat-pop band, whose sound is that of the Irish folk tunes transmitted into the sound of guitar amplifiers through a harsh feeling of a heart-beat in their melodies. In their songs James Joyce meets the world of the Beatles in the middle of a Dublin-street. An evening with two leading brands from the fresh Dublin underground-pop scene at the ship, guest starring in Hungarian colours the local-hero band the Peet.
