Anneke van Giersbergen calls for a special, intimate musical journey as part of an acoustic solo tour of Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary. The Dutch singer-songwriter is considered one of the most special female voices in the world: her voice is both calm and overwhelming, and performance deep, personal and glamorous.
Anneke's latest project is published in the form of a special trilogy: La Vie, La Mort, L'Amour, which in French means life, death, love. The trilogy will be released as a full album in 2026, in a limited physical release, at the same time as the third EP.
"I wrote these songs shortly after the death of my parents and put my eight-member concert band to the studio to record them together. Last year, I had to face the biggest questions of life and doubts about my loss. These songs reflect the emotions and thoughts I had in this difficult period. music that shaped my youth. ” Says Anneke.
Anneke has become known as the frontman of The Gathering, but has been constantly showing new pages since his entry into the 2007 solo career. There are many collaborations, including Devin Townsend, Ayreon, Amorphis, Napalm Death, John Wetton or Árstíðir - in every style. In 2019, Buma Cultuur Music Organization is Buma Rocks!
