The Pineapple Thief will be performing in Budapest this fall with their new album. Former Porcupine Tree and current King Crimson drummer Gavin Harrison is now a regular member of the British progressive rock band, the twelfth, the 2018 Dissolution, followed by last year's Hold Our Fire album, and a new album later this year.
The band was formed in 1999 by singer, composer and guitarist Bruce Soord. Their music combining special, progressive post-rock elements with melancholic melodies was influenced by Pink Floyd, U2, Ozric Tentacles and King Crimson, as well as Radiohead and Muse. In the fall, they are preparing for a tour of 40 stations in 18 countries.
