The internationally renowned NYC producer Tony Simon — aka Blockhead — has released 15 albums over the past 25 years, including four acclaimed records for Ninja Tune and numerous production jobs including notable works with Aesop Rock. He is regarded as one of the modern masters of instrumental hip-hop and has more recently been releasing music on other platforms like Future Archive Recordings and Backwoodz Studioz.

Arms and Sleepers is the electronic music project founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 2006, formerly comprising Max Lewis and Mirza Ramic. Beginning in 2018, Lewis became a less active member leaving Arms and Sleepers to continue with Ramic as the sole official member. Over the years, the group has amassed over 30 releases, 3,000 live performances across the globe, and countless TV and Film music placements. 2020 was Arms and Sleepers’ busiest year yet, with the release of 4 studio albums and 3 EPs during the height of the pandemic. Subsequent releases have included the full-length albums former kingdoms (2022) and What Tomorrow Brings (2024, Pelagic Records), as well as various EPs, remixes and collaborations (including with Blockhead, Poldoore, Hidden Orchestra, Lusine, Richard Houghten, and Sun Glitters). 2026 marks the project’s 20th anniversary, which will see Ramic holding special online events, releasing specialty physical editions, putting out new music, and returning to live touring. With a long and active history in the music industry, Arms and Sleepers has carved out its own unique place within the underground electronic music scene, building a loyal following along the way with its glitched-out grooves that take as much inspiration from leftfield hip-hop experimentalism as they do from the slowburn ambience and panoramic euphoria of contemporary post-rock.
