Day of Hungarian Culture, award ceremony - Besh o drom, Duckshell

In keeping with tradition, the Hangfoglaló Program Office celebrates Hungarian Culture Day with pop music concerts and a large-scale event this year, which it also combines with welcoming the new talents of the Induló Előadó Subprogram.
To top it all off, there will also be an exciting world music and dance party featuring Besh o droM and the Duckshell band.
And the best part?
Both concerts are free! If you want to secure your place, click on the link below, as participation requires registration!
Performers:
BESH O DROM
The doyen of domestic world music combines Balkan and Hungarian melodies, holds together very different styles, and plays music whose atmosphere is worth experiencing rather than talking about.
Its musicians can sometimes be found in the company of world-famous performers (for example Oscar Peterson, Al Di Meola, Keith Jairett, Marcus Miller), but the band feels close to the audience in a truly inimitable atmosphere - as evidenced by the Kobuci opening parties for years.
In case someone doesn't know: the name Besh o droM in Lovári means: "Sit the road!" that is, "Go!"

DUCKSHELL
The Duckshell band was founded by young people with Brazilian, Székely and Roma roots who met in the Budapest underground. They toured the clubs and festivals of Hungary from Kobuci to A38, from the Sziget Festival to the Valley of the Arts and played for French, German, Polish and Turkish audiences.
In their music, Balkan and Brazilian influences meet different musical genres such as ska, punk or hip-hop. At all their concerts, they take the stage with a punk attitude, and with their unique world music, they conjure up a carnival atmosphere in clubs and festivals.
