Bárdó

Bárdó

Bárdo is a formation lead by the underground diva Ágnes Bárdos Deák, well-known in the 80ies as the singer of the strongest politically influential anti-dictatorship band called Kontroll Csoport. After its split up she continued by founding her own formation named Ági és a fiúk, played roles in films, and by the time she became 50, she decided to make a project dedicated to the cooler side of punk and underground titled Bardo, in which she sings songs that bring the charm from Kurt Weil to Lou Reed, with lyrtics writtebn by herself and contemporary Hungarian poets, backed live with the best underground musicians of the Budapest scene.
