One of the most important bands of modern, electronic based nu jazz, the Swedish Koop revived. The composer of the formerly duo Oscar Simonsson after six years of silence set up a new band featuring the fantastic Lithuanian jazz singer Jazzu. Old hits and new songs with their typical loosy swing melacholic Koop-sound: this is the Koop Oscar Orchestra, which gives one of its first concerts within the frames of the CAFÉ Budapest festival at the A38 Ship.

Wintergatan is the new orchestra of the crazy Göteborg-located instrument-builder Martin Molin that mixes electronic sound with Scandinavian folk music and completely hilarious instrument-discoveries. Molin's latest invention is a "ballmachine" the building of which was followed by more millions of people on the Youtube. Each performance of the Wintergatan brings a special exprerience, halfway between a science fiction machine-presentation and a folkpop-electronica concert.
Danish De Sorte Skole is a huge sounde-collage-building elektronic music project. Their all performances provide a unique audio-visual experience, in which you'll find tribal rhythms, contemporary jazz, stunning visuals and a drifting tempo. Their support will be an important Belgian artpop band, the Konoba.
