For her every street is a stage and each watching eye the world itself. Now she'll give a full value concert in an intimate ambient as part of the A38 Ship's birthday festival. Support act will be the charming, funny, dreamy act, the I Am Soyuz.

Hollands answer to the Foreign Beggars Dope DOD surfing on the borders between dubstep, grime and current bass music returns to the A38 Ship after seven years to make an explosion of sound. Their agressive beats, cellar-deep bass-lines and well-known flow that made them an international success story will pull with them those who will be the quickest at buying their tickets for the packed house is guaranteed.

On the birthday festival of the A38 Ship one of the very best didjeridoo- and jews harp players of Europe with a Hungarian beatbox champion make up a trio: the Airtist will make the audience dance on the roofterrace. Their music evoking eclectic and ancient music and ambients can suit perfectly to those used to electronic music as well. This German-Hungarian formation has more gigs abroad than in Hungary: they have already toured the USA, Italy and frequently return to Spain, France and even Ibiza. A great opening for this night will be provided by their supporting act: the Grabanc. A formation that has very wide perspectives and have in their custom line-up also a jews harp and a saxophone will definitely bring real explosions in their sound.

The A38 Ship does its best as a European cultural center and club to support the international circulation of talents at the same time contributing to the presentation of Hungarian talents abroad. As a presidential board member of the Liveurope network looking forward to the Day of Europe Mary Popkids band that has given a great gig before at the Polish Stodola club's main hall will not only return to the A38 Ship on this festive occasion but also give a special album-release concert. This showcase will feature also the Tolstoys band that already performed at the BUSH and a great talent from Austria the Cari Cari band. One of the most inportant a loveable pieces of extreme music in 2017 was definitely the album by the Brookly-based Sannheth, who made a unique mix of post-rock and atmospheric black metal titled So Numb, which is expressive, turbulent and an extreme experience in each of its minute. The gig planned for the last year has been postponed to the A38 Ship's 15th birtday festival so now its about time to have the fabulous Lucky Chops star Leo Pellegrino with his concrete jungle brasshouse trio the Too Many Zooz! Rising into the sky from the Union Square underground they have become Beyonce's occasional backing formation. This uniqe street band will burst into flames the stage on May 1st and make a dancing packed house with its beat-centric funky street ambient featuring great basses that guarantee a hilarious ambient abroard.

The great master of European deep house for the first time aboard! On the 15th birthday festival of the A38 Ship we wish to include in our electronic music section a special, exclusive and rare program as well, so probably the most important house-production of the last five years will be our guest and play live at our venue. The duo that was made well-known internationally by their hilarious Sonnentanz will be an ideal opening to a great new summer season and a strongly not to be missed program as a gem of the weekend.

Our favourite French production performing new wave hits as chansons returns to the A38 Ship's birthday festival celebrating also its fifteenth birtday with a very special club gig! During the last years this band has changed and developed as we did. There have been performances by Elodie Frége, Nadeah or the Marc Collin led Bristol aboard, but we were always the happiest when we could hear in Nouvelle Vague's sassy, intelligent and fresh style the ever-greens by the Echo & the Bunnymen, Joy Division or the Dead Kennedys. On April 30th a very special program focusing on the greatest hits one of the greatest masters on the Fench scene will celebrate its birthday together with us and will bring a never returning opportunity to get an experience of a lifetime.

One of the greatest pianists of contemporary music Joep Beving finally performs in Budapest at the 15th birthday festival of the A38 Ship! With his last year released album titled Prehension this composer has definitely left all influences by Philip Glass, and brought to perfection his very own fragile, fallible music world built on monothematic, repetitive melodies and fragmented structures featuring street-like background noises built organically into his sound - has so far reached a true recognition for him by both music experts and his audience celebrating him. One of the most important composers of his time will play in an intimate ambient with Danube-panorama nicely seated at the exhibition hall for those 100 happiest who will be the quickest to by the tickets. After Benjamin Clementine's performance at the A38 this night promises to become the peak of all moving events in this season.

The Hungarian Fan Club meets up to make a huge Black Celebration dedicated to the great immortals of the British new wave.

First official album by Akkezdet Phiai was released 15 years ago in 2003. Titled "Akkezdet" their debute defined the direction of development concerning Hungarian hiphop lyrics of the following years and it was included in the album titled 303 best Hungarian albums ever. It became such a success that it was even incorporated into the exams of literature in some secondary schools. "Akkezdet" and the A38 Ship are of the same age. Due to 15th jubilee one of the most influential bands of the Hungarian alternative scene will play again their legendary hiphop album.

One of Budapest's most popular indie electro djs, Kecske will make you dance until dawn on our airy roof terrace.

Seems unbelievable, but Péter Egri founded his band 20 years ago and the Mystery Gang has brought back dance to the Budapest night. This trio redefining garage rock and rockabilly will sum up the very best of its work and play it on the A38 Ship's roofterrace. Their support will be the Memphis Moon ‘55 which is tied to them in hundred ways.

After the sold out Hiperkarma Halloweens the band by Robi Bérczesi returns with a special club concert to the A38 Ship on its birthday, since they'll play all songs from the band's legendary album titled Amondó released 15 years ago. This album featuring songs of massive textures, exciting music solutions and even today great live favourites became a timeless frame for a guaranteed and unrepeatable time voyage into some of the best chapters in the history of the Hungarian alternative music to make it more understanble and experiencable again.

Last year's return of the Swedish ambient legend for more than twenty years the Carbon Based Lifeforms has stunned their psybient audience with the most ghostly album by their duo ever. Derelicts is built up of analogue sound samples reaching the sky in a way in which they both draw from the tradition by Brian Eno, Boards of Canada or Aphex Twin and take on an own voyage bringing you around their music rotating like a satellite. Thanx to the Avatar Carbon Based Lifeforms returns to the A38 Ship to take away all with them.

It's the 30th anniversary of the release of one of the most legendary Hungarian rock albums ever, A halál móresre tanítása the very first LP by the Vágtázó Halottkémek. Recorded live in the Netherlands it became not only a masterpiece of the epoch, but one of the most influential albums of alternative music ever presenting a new artistic approach and a spiritual reference living today as well. So on April 25th all can cry that is in oneselves since there will be a never returning chance to hear the band play this album live again presenting their very debute. Support act will be by the excellent Psycho Mutants.

Antal Nimrod's legendary film has even more legendary film music by Neo that is absolutely fresh and kicking today too: on the 15th birthday of the @38 Ship Mátyás Milkovics and his band will make a special live music performance connected with screening that will evoke scenes from the most loved film on the Hungarian scene since the turn of the millenium.
