Renato Borghetti accordion virtuoso has rosen among the young musicians generation from Brazil like a star. His quick and playful melodies recall the sounds of the South-American mountains mixing them with East-European, Italian, French elements, that all result up in a fresh, modern mix of tangos, musettes and texmexes. The Vienna Rai Orchester was founded by the moroccan Kadero Ray singer and the Austrian accordion-virtuoso Otto Lechner, but the team was quickly enlarged with excellent saxophones, percussions, guitars and keyboards into a nine-member big band, and became quickly a highly efficient mixer of the traditional ethno, afro-pop, funk and jazz styles. Their floating parties invite you onto a huge spiritual travelling from Morocco through New York and Delhi to Vienna.
