Rootless, yet everywhere at home - Alice Merton in Budapest
Alice Merton undoubtedly became known as a girl without roots - just as she was flying the hit lists of No Roots. In her songs, she celebrates life as a nomad, and says she creates a home wherever she wants. Whether on stage or on the road, so in a sense, every action is a return home. Just like her upcoming concert in Budapest, returning to her first Hungarian concert, the A38 ship on October 29th.
Alice Merton, with her 2016 hit, No Roots, has been added to the hit lists and has become a multiple platinum and gold performer in Europe and in the United States. She performed at a festival such as Coachella, Sziget and Lollapalooza. And after her S.I.D.E.S album, she opened a new chapter with the release of Heron II, released in 2024, with which the singer set out on an internal trip to ask questions like "who I should be" and "how much do I know at all?" Are we able to find happiness on our own without wanting to meet everyone else's image of happiness?
Alice Merton's cool yet emotional songs invite us to similar internal discoveries. So let's keep with it on October 29th on A38!
Ticket sales will start on June 10 at 4 pm at www.funcode.hu and www.livenation.hu.
