Eroticism, electronica and rock and roll. This is the zZz, it is the Dutch underground-electro duo, featuring keyboard-player Daan Schinkel’s and drummer-singer Björn Ottenheim’ credo and blessed trinty. Titles like House of Sin, Ecstasy, Sweet Sex, Bikini Inferno and son on, sweaty music videos, the massively distorted sound of organ, the drummer burring through the voice of Elvis Presley, psychodelic moods in adequate amounts, trance and misty grooves: the ideal mix, with which zZz conquered the lowland’s underground. The first and only release of theirs so far titled The Sound of zZz was released in 2005.
