Úrfi was founded in Budapest in February 2018 with the aim of singing, dancing or just making it easier for their audience with their exceptionally honest lyrics and sad-happy music.

The band, which apostrophized itself as a text-centric complainant-pop, quickly entered the palette of Hungarian light music life. They were winners of the MüPa Garage Band Festival, and they performed in the first place among 117 entrants at the Dreher Brewery and the Explorer of Flaming Guitars. Their clip has already been included in the Hungarian Clip Review, they have appeared in the programs of Petőfi Rádió and M2-Petőfi Tévé, they were regular actors in the web series of MüPa entitled “Rain to See”.

In addition to their solo concerts, they performed on the stage of the Valley of Arts, Fezen, Comedium Corso. They are currently working on their second album after their 2018 album Wreaths.
