The Immigrants

The Immigrants are a progressive space indie-rock band formed in Pécs, Hungary, in 2011. The band consists of Adorio Badric (leading vocals, bass guitar), Szabolcs Sapi (guitar, vocals) and Balazs Karolyfi (drums, vocals). The group became popular in the reality television series “Hungary’s Got Talent” in 2012. Tours and concerts followed across Hungary with some of the greatest names of the scene - 30Y, Halott Pénz, Heaven Street Seven, The Biebers, Esti Kornél and many others. In 2013 they released their first studio album “Best of Immigrants”. The Album was a success and The Immigrants went international. Venues and festivals all across Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and of course our home country, Hungary hosted our performance. In 2015 they played at the regions greatest festival, Sziget and competed successfully in the prestigious state competition “Cseh Tamas Program”.

In March 2016 they released their second LP titled “I Need Help”, and toured for 46 day trough France, Germany, Belgium, Luxemburg, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Ukraine and Russia. The European tour was followed by a domestic tour with the famous Hungarian band Quimby. The Hungarian tour also included a sold out “Budapest Park” - the country’s biggest and most prestigious outdoor venue. In autumn they supported the excellent Belmondo in Budapest’s prominent venue Aquarium. Just a week later “Grapefruit” was awarded with SlagerFM’s “7 Chiefs” Award for the best music video of 2016. The band is bursting with creative energy and will be releasing their third studio album in 2017 and of course tour the hell out of Europe again.
