The story of the Szilvási Gipsy Folk Band developed from the gathered playing by a few teenager musicians. The winners of the once Romano Glaso competition of knowledge formed a quintet, that has been playing since a modernized gipsy traditional music in an elegant, refined and floating, overwhelming style mixing the Balcan traditions with flamenco ambients and even rap from time to time.No special efforts, only pure energy, joy, easy, like the title of their latest album says: The Folklore will beat you up.
