Strong Deformity

The band was formed in 1995 in Szombathely from the merger of Jeanne Dark and Extreme Deformity.

Shortly after their formation, they are contracted by LMS Records, dreamed up by Lord bassist, and their first album, The Power of Pain ..., is released. In the spring of 1995, they were featured in Metal Hammer magazine’s Demonstration II. compilation album. The Virus on the disc. song, judged the second best of 13 songs based on fan voting results. The band will tour Hungary soon after signing a license agreement with Austrian Core And More Records to release the English version of “The Power of Pain ...” “Power Of Pain…” in Europe. “The Power of Pain ...” lands second in the Sound Test of Metal Hammer H magazine, and Austrian and German magazines [Freak, Music Box, Metal Hammer (D)] also respond positively to the material. Thanks to this, the band also receives a lot of invitations from clubs in Austria and Hungary, so they start touring intensively. The team will be invited again on the Metal Hammer Demonstration CD as a special guest. A Who Will Survive c. A remix version of the song will be made with the help of two producers (Prieger-Németh) of the Anima Sound System in Szombathely. The team also performed very well in four categories in the Metal Hammer end-of-year reader poll.

In 1997, an endless crowd surprised the members of the band's concert at the Shipyard Island, giving the most visited metal concert of the festival.

At the end of June 1998, a contract is signed with NSM Records in Austria.

While writing the second album, the singer Tamás Bíró will soon be replaced by Károly Fekete “Hair”, who sang in the bands Womb and Kali Yuga before joining the band. Hair is also a singer and lyricist, and her voice fits in perfectly with the new songs, giving a fresh impetus to the work on the next Strong D. album. The domestic license for the album, named Racket, is purchased by Nephilim Records. NSM Records is responsible for releases in other European countries. The record is Superdope c. The song is also featured on a CD in a U.S. underground magazine.

After the release, Racket (German Metal Hammer, Sonic Seducer… etc.) is reported everywhere in Europe's leading metal newspapers. The newspapers almost without exception make a positive statement about the album.

In the summer of 2002, they will start recording their third album at HSB Studio in Budapest. Before mixing the record, Warner Music Hungary / Magneoton (now M-Ton) contracts the band, so the mixing is already done in the best studio in Hungary, Aquarium Studios. The producer of the album is a pair of Prieger-Németh composers (Anima Sound System) and bassist Tibor Kováts (co-producer). The album also features backing vocals by Juci Németh (Anima Sound System). A Magic Syrup c. disc will be released on September 16, 2002. With the music material, the band starts in a so-called individual, new direction, which could best be characterized by a new kind of mix of modern rock-metal, electro and 80s new wave, dark wave. The Imaginary Adventure c. a video is being made for the song, which will climb to the second place on the VIVA TV top 20 list. Shortly afterwards, the video will also be aired on British Music Television. This is called Genie In MY Mind. followed by a video of the song.

In 2004, some members of the band will move abroad and will not give more concerts. Tibba, the bassist, appears on the Anima Sound System as a guitarist, and Balázs plays on the Moby Dick tour.

... After a long break in 2016, after a change of guitarist (Szabolcs Fodor will be replaced by Szabolcs S.N.O.T), the team will be together again in early 2016 at Timeless Garden. they perform with a song.

In the meantime, they will also give some successful returning concerts. Several singles will then be released in 2017 with the title Hidden Doors Of Sanctuary, for which a high-budget video clip will be made. In 2018, “Take Your Demons To A Rooftop Bar,” also backed with a video clip.

The single Idol In The Mirror will be released on Christmas 2018 with the band Nova Prospect. (text video)

The first song in the new album, scheduled for 2020 (which will be postponed to 2022 due to the pandemic), Riding a Hurricane, will also be released in 2019, also with a video clip. For Christmas 2021, they’re coming up with another single and a video called Manitou.

In early 2022, the band will finalize the upcoming new album.
