Quixotic

Quixotic (HU)

Quixotic was one of the first producers in Hungary who discovered the world of new retro wave. Through the synth waves his music takes you from 80s Miami sunsets over palms and cocktails to outrun car chases with loads of guitar solos. He's obsessed with the 80's and all kinds of its genres, ranging from synth pop, electro over italo to nu disco, balearic and at last but not least synthwave. His top hit "Palms" one of the most popular synthwave tracks with more than 4 million views on YouTube. Even the italo god Vincenzo Salvia did a remix of it. Quixotic won the remix contest of Robots With Rayguns's Love is a Battlefield cover with Patrick Baker. He was featured on compilations like Outrun Europa, Future City Records,Lazerdisc Record's Nightwav compilation and Quixotic is one of the lead artists of the Hungarian Synthwave Allstars charity compilations. Together they raised more than 3000 euro since the first album release for highly disabled kids in need. They dedicated a big charity synthwave event too with 8 artist from the compilation. Quixotic also shared the stage with Carpenter Brut, Com Truise and his hungarian fellow Lazerpunk and played at Sziget festival after Perturbator. Quixotic did shows abroad in Lviv, Ukraine last year and a tour with Lazerpunk this year in Bratislava (Slovakia), Moscow (Russia), Wroclaw (Poland). He is one of the resident artists and an organizer at the "Neonhullám" synthwave party series and community in Hungary. Also has his own open air Miami Vice summer vibes events called "Waves by Quixotic". His debut LP coming soon with Quixotic "classics" and new tracks!
