The band PLASTICOCEAN from Sopron was formed in 2017, their songs are characterized by modern metal and metalcore styles. Since their launch, in addition to the podium rankings of several Hungarian talent researchers, they have been among the sponsors of the 2018/2019 Season Voice Program Start-up Performers Subprogram as the only metal band.

In September 2019, the band's second album, UNROUGH, was released. While the first album, 2017 WAVE, was lined with songs in English, only Hungarian lyrics can be heard on the new album and it differs in sound from the previous material. The mission and goal of the band is to find the circle of the domestic rock music market who want to hear something other than the usual.
