Péterfy Bori & Love Band
The career of the singer-actress Bori Péterfy began in the early nineties in Budapest, where she was an active member of the alternative theater milieu in its heyday, and later a member of the National Theatre. His musical career began with the Péterfy Bori & Love Band invented by the composer-bandleader Ambrus Tövisházi in 2007 with the song Hajolj bele a hajamba, which simultaneously brought Bori and the band national recognition. Their first album, woven from songs, alternative rock and psychedelic pop, put the Love Band on the map of Hungarian music, which - except for a short break due to Bori's pregnancy - is constantly touring.
Their ten-year jubilee album Bori X was released in the form of a free-to-download mobile game app. And their last album Szikra, released in the summer of 2020, deals with the experiences of the first wave of the pandemic and the way out of it. The band, which has released a total of seven studio albums during its fifteen years of operation, regularly tours the country. We can expect fun and energizing concerts from them in clubs, seated theaters and festival stages.
