Pandora

Pandora (BE)

Grunge, punk rock and a shot of rock 'n' roll. If you combine those ingredients in the right mixture, you’ll notice how refreshing an album whose sources are lying in the early 90’s as well as in the year 2009 may sound.

Exceptionally consequent and at the same time sassy and wild, the young trio formed a mere 2 years ago by Annie (guitar/vocals), Michele (bass) and Roman (drums) shows off dynamic songs through impulsive, progressive riffs and powerful drums on their debut Melancholic Freedom. The band does not respect any genre’s limit as musically they renew rock 'n' roll history in their very unique style.

And it’s not by chance that Pandora is the most successful Belgian newcomer to date. The young band has been playing more that 100 shows in Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands, France, Austria, Hungary and Italy.

Also in a number of occasions they played as support act for ex-Thumb and Alternative Allstars singer Claus Grabke and the US-american punk legends US Bombs and The Germs (with Ex-Nirvana guitarist Pat Smear). Lately they were chosen among 50 bands to play on the Stawag Music Award in front of more than 5000 people.

Their debut-album, will be out on January 15th 2010, released by Xochipilli Records/Radar Music in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, Sweden & the United States. One of their first gigs on their album-release tour will be their show in Budapest.
