In 2017, Nova Prospect won the domestic qualifier for the Wacken Metal Battle, so they were able to represent Hungary at the Wacken Festival in Germany, where they placed 10th in the 28-band international field, presented themselves to a foreign audience of about 7,000 and an international jury of 28, in Hungarian.

The band's "Watchful". song was included in the Eurovision Song Contest, The Song 2018 c. among the top 30 songs in the show, so they were able to show off on MTVA’s live TV show in early February.

The band’s 3rd major album, “Looking to the Future,” was released as an appendix to the November 2018 issue of Hammerworld magazine with 10 new songs, including a video clip for the songs “The Only One,” “Survive,” and “Heaven with Us.” The lyrics of the last song were obtained by Örs Siklósi.

The album’s second lead track, “First of the Last,” debuted on September 6, 2021, accompanied by a video clip made for it. The basic idea of the song's lyrics was inspired by the band's fans, who, despite being disabled, came to many Nova concerts and went to rural cities for a party, such as Nyíregyháza or Békéscsaba. As Bálint's (Schautek Bálint lyricist / electronic instruments) nephew, Roland Schautek, has been disabled since his birth, he is nevertheless a Hungarian champion, European champion and World Cup silver medalist in sports, so he gave himself up to be included in the video clip. The video clip was again directed and edited by Judit Pintér.

Nova Prospect, which was already 14 years old in 2021, has gained a stable status among the underground bands with its female frontman with its modern rock music, which sometimes has a pop score and sometimes progressive elements.
