Nogu Svelo

Nogu Svelo (RU)

Nogu Svelo (Stiffy feet) freak pop band became cultic back in the nineties thanx to their completely absurd lyrics and crazy-naiv syth-punk music. Their funny texts with black humour have for their heroes homeless people, immigrant workers coming from the East, pregnant women, empleyees of the Khazahstan Air Company and wild animals. Nogu Svelo is a perfect exaple to prove, how can a completely crazy underground formation bercome a popular pop band. Their live gigs are burtsing with energy.

They broke into the Moscow scene with their songs "Haramamburu" sung on an invented language, and "Siberian love",  then with their hit album titled "I'm glad to be pregnant" receiving both criticakl accklaim and scandalous reactions.
