Nicola Conte’s name is inevitably connected to the nu jazz revolution of the 90ies by now. As a musician, dj and hyperactive producer maybe its him, who did most in Europe to take back jazz onto the dancegrounds. We have had the pleasure of enjoying his refined dj sets more times in Budapest - among others on the A38 - in which floating swings, melancholic bossa novas and loosy funks interchange with film music, evergreens and rarities from unknown underground labels.
