Jazzpression

Jazzpression

Jazzpression was formed in 2000 by four students of the music academy. They started off with playing remakes of classical jazz standards, which brought them great popularity and they have continued with playing own compositions since. They have recorded two albums, received in 2004 the Best Jazz Band of the Year eMeRTon-award, performed hundreds of concerts and numerous festivals. They frequently perform with Barna Pély, and Péter Sárik’s composition titled Ways got into the finals of the Nashville International Songwriting Competition in 2005. Their album-release concert was recorded last year for the television on the A38 Ship.
