Góbé
Expanding fusion folk from the Carpathian Basin.
The six-member Hungarian formation, formed in 2007, has reached out to authentic folk music with a bold, experimental spirit from the very beginning.
They continued their studies as students of the Liszt Ferenc University of Music, so their tools include classical, folk and light music.
Over the past 15 years, the band has toured the entire Carpathian Basin and half of Europe, and has performed on almost every Hungarian light music platform during its more than a thousand concerts. At their concerts - wherever they are - eras, styles, tastes meet, crowds dance.
Not only do folk music and the music of our time fit together, but they form the same culture, they interact - these are the intersections of Góbé's four albums so far.
