Free Style Chamber Orchestra

Free Style Chamber Orchestra

The FSCO made up of strings, woodwinds and a jazz combo is a special ”hibrid-bigband” with nineteen members, featuring among others masters like Máté Pálhegyi (flute), Sándor Zsemlye (saxophone), Látó Frankie (violin), Péter Kaszás (percussion), or the also key figure of the European Mantra János Nagy (keyboards). The band with this exciting line up is able to produce besides for jazz well-known harsh sounds also very refined and unusual soundscapes. These real refinements of almost a chamber orchestra type are typical for the FSCO and make their music a both unique and profound feature of Hungarian jazz.
