The group was founded in 2001 by the 23 years old drummer, Gergő Borlai. The main aim of this unclassfiable quartet is to make the renewal of instrumental music. The unique sound of European Mantra reminds the audience of jazz, but the observant listener can easily find also the elements of trash metal, funk, pop-rock in it.
