The band was founded in da year 2001. Company of stoned intellectual teenagers wanted to play experimental dub... but they couldn´t find da way out of improvising. After few personal changes and weird gigs the D-day has come. They had a show on the biggest stage of Mighty sounds festival. They had... well... they tried... and in correspondence with this fiasco the band finally decided to rehearse with the idea of "doing Things". After several months of rehearsing, they stood on da stage as a band before da big King Django. Till these days Music of DDT has grown up on da roots and base of Jamaican music with echoes of middle european folklor, jewish music and melodies from da south, as well as german military marches & polka. What a great mixture!!! (and we are faster and faster...)

The band itself calls it "The Psychodestructive Cabaret". We have had many opportunities to play with lots of wonderful bands like Panonia All Stars Orchestra, King Django band, NYSJA, Dubioza kolektiff, Supergigs, Fastfood orchestra, 2v1, Sto zvířat and more czech ska and reggae bands and sound systems. It was also our big honour to invite da band Prague ska conspiracy for their first gig.
