DaWhy
The music played by DaWhy is characterized by tones of Central and Eastern Europe, because Hungary from many aspects is in the middle, we could say that cultures meet here. All these spirits and influences are in the music of DaWhy.
The title of their first set of songs is `Cover Land!` that is an adventure in the world of re-thought and re-made music. The band has been working in the last two years on what has become its particular sound, which can be defined as a melting pot of the different styles and tones. This was the road that each member (9!) of the band walked down together in the last two years, during which they discovered each background and finally built up together this 60-minute program that contains Prodigy, Astor Piazzolla, Rammstein, Serbial Turbo Folk, Hungarian Folk songs, Norhern African, French-Arabic style Benny Benassy and Mory Kante.
The two main elements that could make this band popular within the fans of pop- rock, as well as for the afficionates of World Music: the strong 5-membered brass and reed section gives the solid basis and the `danceable` nature of the songs.
