Chalaban group playing Moroccan music was formed in Hungary with the lead of Said Tichiti. At the moment they are the only Hungarian band playing authentic Arab music. Their music is inspired by the forms of traditional Moroccan music, in which also traces of other culture’s modern and folk music can be discovered too. Chalaban has been doing its best since its founding to bring diffenrent music styles, instruments and knowledge closer to perception.
