Brian Sanhaji (CLR) (DE)
As young Brian comes across a music program on a friend's Amiga 500, the desire to produce his own sound starts growing inside of him. Initially he experiments with Hip Hop beats, but it doesn't take him too long to turn his focus on Techno - being triggered by a Prodigy Concert. Like many other contemporaries in the nineties, Brian was highly inspired by Frankfurt's legendary Omen Club. His first two acts are released 2000 and 2001 under the pseudonym Relic on the Frankfurter label Triebtäter. According to that, he is taking the next hurdle and founds the label Enable Recordings on which he presents artists like The Advent and Andre Walter among his own productions. Step by step Brian gets the opportunity to release on further labels as well; for instance Punkt Musik and Definition Records. Besides he participates in the project Citizen Art with which he releases among others a remix for The Horrorist on Things to Come, produces an EP for the artist Cess on his Outlet Audiolove and works together with Harold Todd (Kravitz's Saxophonist) on – like he says – commercial stuff. Ultimately it's his own releases though those mount him to be a requested live act. In the course of his transfer to CL Booking in 2005 his booking schedule increases from main stage at Nature One to Detroit Electronic Music Festival in the States to its preliminary peak at Spinclub/Ibiza. In addition to his productions and live act tours, Brian creates an entirely new set up by assembling the company Sanhaji Mastering in 2006. His continuous seeking for the perfect sound is most likely contributing to master this challenge.
